Project Manager, Treasury Systems and Transformation

Treasury Systems and Transformation (TST) team is responsible for providing project delivery and business systems analysis support to developing, maintaining, and enhancing Global Treasury Cash Application infrastructure. The team works in an environment that brings together resources specializing in several disciplines including Treasury Operations, IT, project management and business and financial analysis skills. Key responsibilities of the area are project delivery for global book of work initiatives, process automations and controls, implementing changes and upgrades to the ERP and maintaining a controlled, reliable, accessible, and stable Treasury application infrastructure.

Position Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead end‑to‑end project management for Treasury Operations and Systems initiatives, following established PMO and governance frameworks.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, communication plans, and status reporting.
  • Drive project execution to ensure milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies are well managed and communicated.
  • Ensure alignment to change management protocols, including testing, documentation, training, and go‑live readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Treasury Operations, Finance, IT/Technology, Risk, and external partners.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and working groups to support solution design and delivery.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project updates, escalation, and coordination across cross‑functional teams.

Technology & Process Enablement

  • Partner with IT PMs to support system enhancements, integrations, testing cycles (SIT, UAT), and deployment planning.
  • Understand and articulate functional and technical requirements, data flows, and system interactions within Treasury applications.
  • Identify process optimization opportunities and contribute to improving operational efficiency, automation, and control robustness.

Risk & Controls

  • Ensure risks, issues, and operational impacts are identified, assessed, and mitigated promptly.
  • Support documentation of controls, procedures, and operational readiness associated with system or process changes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to building project management tools, templates, and best practices for the Treasury transformation portfolio.
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture with a strong focus on accountability and delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within Financial Services, Treasury, Capital Markets, or related domains.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of technology projects, system implementation lifecycles, and integration concepts.
  • Experience juggling multiple initiatives concurrently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, system behavior, and business requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), cash management platforms, liquidity systems, or risk engines.
  • Familiarity with accounting, payments processes, financial instruments, and treasury operations workflows.
  • PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications.
  • Experience working closely with IT and understanding APIs, data integrations, testing methodologies, and system architecture concepts.

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
