Position Summary

We want an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Thermo Fisher LC-MS/MS systems to manage solution development projects in different application domains. The ideal individual has practical experience with high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and triple quadrupole MS. They must have a proven history of delivering analytical solutions for metabolomics, proteomics, biopharmaceuticals, food safety, and environmental testing. The position calls for technical excellence, critical thinking, and collaboration with R&D, marketing, and field application teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct cross-functional projects related to LSMS solution development and application deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (BU, R&D, Sales, and Technical Support) to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and refine workflows and solutions based on Thermo Fisher LSMS product lines, including Orbitrap and TSQ series.
  • Coordinate data analysis and application validation in metabolomics, proteomics, biopharma, food, and environmental fields.
  • Manage project timelines, risk assessment, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and alignment with customer needs.
  • Support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and feedback integration to drive product improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external collaborators.
  • Communicate effectively with global teams and provide technical insight into central initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience with extensive background will also be considered.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience managing and advancing techniques using Thermo Fisher LC-MS systems — including high-resolution Orbitrap and triple quadrupole instruments.
  • Demonstrated background in solution creation and workflow incorporation for omics applications.
  • Strong understanding of metabolomics, proteomics, biopharmaceutical analysis, and testing methods in food and environmental safety.
  • Excellent project management skills — ability to plan, complete, and deliver complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal); able to collaborate in an international environment.
  • Practical experience working with Thermo Fisher software platforms including Xcalibur, TraceFinder, Compound Discoverer, and Skyline is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes

  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and technical innovation.
  • Strategic approach with the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with global LSMS market trends and emerging omics technologies.
