We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager - Tenders to join our team in Balmain, Sydney, on a 12-month fixed-term basis, where you will be a key member of the regional and global commercial teams, working in a team of highly skilled, experienced, and passionate professionals.

In this role you will lead and be accountable for the end-to-end coordination and delivery of major tender submissions, ensuring the right inputs are sourced, stakeholders are aligned, deadlines are met, and the tender bid is structured for success.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review and interpret tender documentation, including evaluation criteria and compliance requirements, and break submissions into structured workstreams (technical, safety, operational, commercial, ESG)

  • Develop clear bid plans, timelines, ownership and milestones, while identifying risks, dependencies and resource needs early

  • Coordinate input from SMEs across Operations, Fleet, Safety, Finance, Legal, HR and Commercial, setting clear expectations and driving accountability for delivery

  • Maintain momentum across the bid lifecycle, resolving bottlenecks, tracking progress and providing regular status updates

  • Liaise with customers via procurement platforms, including submission and management of clarification questions

  • Ensure all responses are accurate, complete and aligned to customer requirements, with strong attention to detail across technical and commercial content

  • Maintain trackers, action logs and submission checklists, and coordinate structured internal reviews prior to submission

  • Identify gaps in responses and work with stakeholders to develop clear, solution-focused and compelling content that highlights key differentiators

  • Use data, case studies and AI tools to strengthen submissions, while managing formatting, templates and overall document quality

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of tender submissions from kick-off through to final lodgement, making practical decisions to keep submissions on track

  • Adapt to changing requirements, timelines and clarifications, maintaining a disciplined and delivery-focused approach

  • Support continuous improvement by documenting current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and contributing to a more consistent, scalable bid framework and templates for global use

  • Proven experience in bid management, project management or complex tender coordination

  • Strong ability to interpret tender documentation and evaluation criteria

  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving outcomes

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a structured and process-driven approach

  • High attention to detail and strong compliance discipline

  • Advanced MS Office skills and experience working collaboratively in Teams

  • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT

  • Comfortable working across time zones and with global teams

  • Delivery-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Clear, direct and confident communicator

  • Adaptive and solution-oriented, with the ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Persistent and proactive in driving outcomes

  • Strong influencing skills without relying on formal authority
