The Job At-A-Glance:

Q2 is seeking a Project Manager for our Project Services group in Enterprise Implementations. Reporting to an Implementations Delivery Manager and working closely with Implementation Engineers, the Project Manager is responsible for implementing Core Conversions, Middleware Conversions, Acquisitions, Mergers, and other custom solutions to align with the business requirements of our customers.

Expectations for success in this position:

  • Communicate, set, and manage expectations with all project team members and stakeholders regarding project scope, duration, internal/external deliverables and due dates

  • Create project schedule/plan, report on progress, manage and archive necessary internal/external project artifacts

  • Drive and encourage project team members to meet task due dates to ensure project remains on track and Forecast Billable Dates are achieved

  • Work in tandem with Implementations Engineer (IE) and Dev resources to complete internal validation and support Client Acceptance Testing and Resolution (ATR)

  • In partnership with IE, triage Jira & Work Order cases, assign to appropriate resource, assign priorities, post public comments to ensure ATR SLA’s are met, and Client is kept updated

  • Proactively manage risk and follow appropriate escalation processes

  • Drive and influence stakeholders to manage scope and follow change control processes

  • Intermittent weekend work required to support project go live activities

A Typical Day:
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Present findings and recommendations to management through clear and concise reports. Should be able to understand and design What-if models for project P&L and resource allocations
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement process improvement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and monitor their impact.
• Project Management: Assist in planning and executing operational projects. Track project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure timely completion of milestones. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Coordinating any major transitions within the company, such as financial, technological, operational, and governance changes. Generate reports & dashboard related to Program health considering cost, efficiency, timelines etc.

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 5+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
• Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience building documentation and project plans using MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good hands-on experience of MS Visio, Lucid charts etc.
• Exposure to Jira, Salesforce, Qualtrics, PowerBI etc
• Experience managing expectations and providing creative solutions to priority conflicts for high-profile clients.
• Ability to develop new initiatives and processes that produce higher levels of customer satisfaction while reducing expenses and shortening project durations.
• Capable of assessing project risks and related mitigation steps.
• Client first attitude and commitment to satisfaction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent people and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with Salesforce (or other CRM tools) and SharePoint preferred.
• Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred.
