About our Team:
Our Public Safety Service Delivery team partners closely with Customer Operations, Sales, Engineering, Product, and agency stakeholders to deliver successful implementations for law enforcement and government customers nationwide. We lead the work required to translate, ingest, and operationalize agency data within our platforms, while providing disciplined project leadership, clear communication, and strong stakeholder alignment from intake through launch.

About the Role:
The Public Safety Project Manager leads assigned customer implementations and internal initiatives with a high degree of complexity, serving as the central point of coordination across internal teams and agency partners. This role owns project planning and execution—defining scope and success criteria, managing schedules and risks, facilitating working sessions, and ensuring contractual provisions are executed accurately and on time. You’ll also support strategic Public Safety initiatives (including platform enhancements) by driving alignment and maintaining delivery momentum across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Through customer engagement, determine and define project scope, objectives, and timeline
  • Predict internal and customer resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Gain customer engagement through the development and management of a detailed project schedule and work plan to meet or exceed implementation timelines
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide on-going programmatic support to identity and track the status of action items and project deliverables
  • Highlight key risks/issues for discussion and mitigation to management and senior leadership
  • Track and maintain documented status of project deliverables and milestones based on information collected from internal business partners
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through customer written and verbal engagement
  • Deliver presentations of project status to effectively communicate throughout the project life cycle.
  • Prepare for, facilitate, and follow-up as needed for all Service Delivery/PMO meetings (one-on-one meetings, business reviews and presentations)
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or 7–10 years of equivalent experience
  • 5–8 years of project management (or closely related) experience
  • Strong delivery fundamentals: accurate planning, milestone execution, effective resource management, clear status reporting, risk management, and project documentation; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills, including capturing minutes, documenting action items/commitments, and driving follow-through
  • Solid technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office; experience with Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices
  • Experience delivering projects end-to-end across the full lifecycle
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and navigate ambiguity
  • Proven ability to deliver projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Strong interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, and motivation) with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
  • Ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate work across multiple contributors
  • Working knowledge of contract language and the ability to translate contractual requirements into delivery plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification (PMI, PgMP, PMP, CAPM)
  • Experience managing government implementations or government consulting engagements
  • Knowledge of agile development principles
  • Other project management certification (Six Sigma, etc.)

The successful candidate will be required to pass both the standard company background check for all employees and an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners conducted in compliance with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (“CJIS”) security policy. Employees in this role may also be subject to ongoing criminal background checks as required by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners. Candidates and/or employees who are not certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information will not be able to perform the essential functions of this role. Employees who subsequently fail to obtain or maintain CJIS compliance may be reassigned or terminated.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Ohio, the base pay range is $82,300 - $137,200. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
