Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented PROJECT MANAGER to join our team! In this role you will get to Lead and Manage a dynamic team to Install, Train and Test the Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) at Dover AFB, Delaware.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct transition from interim Project Manager of a project approximately ½ way through its 2-year lifecycle and take it to a successful conclusion of technical integration, testing, training and handover to the government customer on time, on budget.
• Lead and direct a technical team through the remainder of the project schedule, focused on the 4 values of a Project Manager: Cost, Schedule, Performance, and Risk.
• Maintain adherence to the government-approved Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to complete the project on time, on budget.
• Manage an internal team of Subject Matter Experts, implementing the approved system to provide protect Department of War Protection Level critical assets.
• Lead the team during installation phase of the project.
• Achieve a “first time go” on Systems Acceptance Test (SAT).
• Throughout the life of the project, you will be responsible for Contract Deliverables
• Travel to site: approximately 20%

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business/Human Relations field with 8+ years of related work experience; OR High School Diploma and 12+ years relevant technical experience
• Active Security Clearance “Secret”
• Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Working Knowledge of Cost Point
• Graduate of Parsons PMCOE; OR graduate within 3 months on the job

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Military experience a must
• Successfully managed multiple government projects dealing with critical assets, intelligence, and/or weapon systems, each valued >$2M
• Program Manager Professional (PMP)

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
