Nuffield Health is the charity that’s building a healthier nation, one day at a time. From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes – we’ll do whatever it takes to look after the UK’s wellbeing. It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.

As a multi-skilled Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in our Charity directorate. Our charitable purpose is to build a healthier nation by supporting people living with long term conditions, including cancer. Our flagship programmes significantly improve the quality of life for patients, and this role is fundamental to ensuring we continue to develop our programmes’ sustainability so we can reach more patients with these life-changing programmes. You’ll lead the delivery of complex projects that directly drive our charitable purpose, while also contributing to our broader Charity-wide initiative to become more agile.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about our purpose “to build a healthier nation”, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work with the Charity & Medical directorate leadership team to define, plan and deliver multiple flagship initiatives – and work closely with our technology units and squads on project execution.

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Lead the delivery of standalone and often complex change initiatives.

  • Enable efficient, collaborative ways of working with the Charity leadership group

  • Manage multiple projects in parallel, ensuring timely and effective delivery

  • Manage all elements of the budgeting process

  • Work closely with technology and operational teams to ensure the smooth deployment of initiatives in your programme.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Help stakeholders articulate and prioritise their annual roadmap and plan

  • Ensure that all initiatives contribute to high-quality services for frontline staff and patients.

To succeed as a Project Manager, you’ll bring:

  • Proven project management experience preferably in the healthcare industry or with charities.

  • Experience working with clinical and IT teams on system integrations and deployments.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and risks.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for coaching and enabling high-performing teams.

  • A commitment to improving patient outcomes through technology.
