Summary:
The LXR Content Project Manager will schedule and manage the day-to-day execution of learning content initiatives, including design, development, testing, piloting, and rollout for employee training programs. This role oversees multiple projects across the Content Development organization, building detailed project plans with timelines and milestones, tracking progress, coordinating resources, and analyzing capacity to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. The Project Manager will work closely with Content Program Managers, who provide strategic guidance and content direction, to ensure alignment and execution across teams.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for learning content initiatives, covering design, development, testing, piloting, and rollout.
Create and maintain detailed project plans with scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource assignments.
Coordinate cross-functional teams—including instructional designers, developers, QA, and deployment leads—for smooth execution.
Track project progress using standard tools, monitoring KPIs, timelines, and deliverables.
Manage intake and prioritization of content requests aligned with business goals and release schedules.
Analyze team capacity and resource allocation to identify bottlenecks and optimize workload distribution.
Act as the central contact for project updates, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
Support pilot testing and rollout planning to ensure content readiness and quality compliance.
Ensure content development adheres to quality, accessibility, and internal review standards.
Collaborate with Content Program Managers to align execution with strategy, manage scope changes, and apply PMP best practices for continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with PMP best practices to enhance workflow efficiency and delivery consistency.
Required Education and Experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Six Sigma) for advanced project management and strategic alignment.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within learning and development or content creation environments.
Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex learning initiatives on time and within scope.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project) and performance tracking systems.
Familiarity with instructional design principles, content development workflows, and quality assurance standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage change requests, scope adjustments, and stakeholder communications in dynamic environments.
