As HVTI Project Manager IV, you will support capital planning, project coordination, and equipment oversight across the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute enterprise, including regional hospitals, main campus, and Florida locations. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical, operational, and finance teams to manage capital assets and ensure alignment with organizational priorities while leading and presenting project updates in multidisciplinary meetings at various levels of the organization. You will help track timelines, funding, and implementation for HVTI capital initiatives and oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and evaluation. By coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and continuously assessing project activities, you will drive successful outcomes and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the enterprise on impactful initiatives that support advanced heart, vascular, and thoracic care. It provides strong exposure to multidisciplinary leadership, capital strategy, and large-scale project management while contributing to meaningful improvements in patient care infrastructure.
A caregiver in this role works days from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage all aspects of and provide a single point of contact for assigned projects.
Lead/manage multiple medium- to large-size projects, leveraging advanced project management tools to deliver results.
Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
Prepare and complete action plans.
Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
Complete audits and identify trends.
Determine system improvements and implement changes.
Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.
Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.
Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field and five years of project management experience in an assigned area, including implementing and supporting a major IT system in a clinical or system analyst capacity and involving complex financial system applications
OR Master’s Degree and four years of experience
Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion
Effective relationship building skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master’s Degree
Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
Healthcare Capital Experience
Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
