We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead medium- to large-scale cross-functional technical projects. In this role, you will coordinate diverse teams, drive consensus among stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams and leadership, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-driven, and thrives in a dynamic setting. You’ll be responsible for developing project plans, tracking progress, effectively communicating project status, and continuously improving project processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with engineers and executives are essential.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of project management experience (8+ preferred)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Asana, SharePoint a plus
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to travel occasionally

As a project manager in this position, a typical day might include the following:
Review project dashboards and priorities to identify risks, issues, and upcoming deadlines, and communicate with teams as needed.
Review and respond to emails from conferences, authors, editors, and leadership.
Host or attend team stand-ups and cross-functional meetings to align priorities, resolve issues, and prepare conference deliverables.
Create and update project plans, schedules, and resource allocations in tools like Asana or SharePoint, and communicate with teams as needed.
Create and update tracking records and documentation for conference deliverables.
Ensure conference deliverables meet conference and organizational standards and processes, guide teams on compliance.

Pay Range Data
Project Manager II $36.50 - $54.00. Project Manager III $86,700 - $128,100. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
