Project Manager, Financial ERP Implementation

Are you a driven Project Manager interested in leading the implementation of the new FInancial ERP (Workday)?

IT Corporate is a Nordic IT unit with close to 60 employees and consultants divided into three teams. We are responsible for systems and IT solutions for If's corporate units such as Finance, Cash Management, Marketing, Legal and HR. To strengthen our support for ongoing business and tech transformation, we are seeking a driven Project Manager to lead the implementation of new Financial-ERP (Workday).

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with demonstrated experience in overseeing comprehensive cloud-based implementation projects, including application configuration, testing, and deployment. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in leading cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise system initiatives. Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce is highly preferred.

This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders within the Financial ERP program, including the program manager, business stakeholders, tech leads, architects, and system integrator resources (e.g., functional leads, solution architects).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for Fin ERP initiatives, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports; manage scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Partner with technical teams, functional stream leads, system integrator, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable tasks, and track progress.

  • Coordinate system configuration and integration activities, ensuring quality and alignment with design specifications.

  • Oversee testing cycles including test planning, execution, issue tracking, and resolution.

  • Ensure implementation of robust processes for managing risks, issues, and changes effectively.

  • Prepare and present project updates to program management, leadership and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all project documentation, governance, and compliance requirements are met.

You also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is strongly preferred, reflecting formal project management training and best-practice methodology.

  • 7+ years of experience in project management with a focus on software or application implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience managing configuration, testing, and deployment activities for ERP systems.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (specifically MS Project and DevOps).

  • Experience with Workday or other ERP SaaS platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP, Salesforce) preferred.

About the team

IT Corporate offers work in modern IT environment where it is possible to combine work with product life cycle management and new development projects. Our technical environment includes several platforms, and our applications support many different functions and processes. We have in-depth knowledge, not only in programming and system development, but also in project management, requirements handling and test management. We work in close collaboration with the customer, and there is an opportunity to work with several customers and different applications. In this team you’ll get the chance to work in both smaller and larger development projects.
