Job Description:
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team and make some excellent work. You’ll help us deliver brilliant creative across digital and ALT channels including TVC, OOH, Radio, Social & Paid Media.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception to execution. You will ensure the work is of the highest standard, fulfilling the brief, delivered on time and within budget. To do this, you will work collaboratively with Business Leadership, Strategy, Creatives and other Dentsu departments, external agencies, and clients.
In addition to this you will also support project finances, resource planning and capacity management - helping to ensure that your projects are resourced effectively, and capacity is managed for the varied roles within the agency team.
Our team delivers best-in-class, integrated campaigns across all channels. You’ll work on some of the UK’s most recognized brands, where precision and creativity are essential. This is a fast-paced environment with multiple projects running simultaneously, so the ability to deliver high-quality work at scale is critical. You’ll also play a key role in managing internal stakeholders and ensuring clear communication at all levels.
You will be a creative thinker who also gets a kick out of being organised – making things run smoothly and efficiently comes as second nature to you. A natural love of process and documentation, a keen eye for detail and a great communicator.
Life as a Project Manager at Dentsu Creative
From brief to delivery, you’ll be the first point of contact for our Business leadership creative team, designers and production teams.
Liaising with clients and other Dentsu teams to define the project scope and agree deliverables
Helping solve issues that might block delivery and quality control any work before final supply
Managing client requests and rounds of feedback / amends in a timely manner
Work closely with the other PMs within the project management team, to ensure the smooth running of the team’s schedule
To assist with project-based documentation such as SOWs, cost estimates, timing plans and production schedules ensuring they follow agency process
Act as the team support on projects, making sure that the creative team are aligned, and all project requests are actioned
Overseeing production of delivery sheets and copy matrices across multiple digital channels, ensuring that everything produced is to the highest standard
Manage resource requests and changes promptly, collaborating with the resource management team and partnering with other project managers to resolve resource conflicts efficiently.
Run regular burn reports to monitor project efficiency and budget compliance, and provide clear updates to senior business leaders.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive project scopes, ensuring inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, and delivery timelines are clearly defined and agreed upon prior to client approval
Maintain up-to-date internal status, financial, and burn report documents to provide the team with clear visibility into project progress and performance
Skills required
1 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role, you’ll have a proven track record of delivering similar types of work in an agency environment
Team management - a real team player who loves working collaboratively and has an instinct for liaising with creatives; someone who knows what great looks like!
Time management – High levels of organisation and brilliant at working in parallel on multiple projects
Incredible attention to detail and diligent quality control of any work before it leaves the building
A self-starter with the ability to work independently
Be a diplomatic and confident communicator, able to inspire teams to collaborate and develop creative solutions to challenges as they arise
Flexible and adaptable, a growth mindset is key
Demonstrates curiosity and a strong desire to learn all aspects of creative project management
Financially astute, with proven experience in scoping projects from initial brief through to successful delivery.
Passionate about creativity and design, with a commitment to delivering outputs of the highest quality
MS Office – Comfortable in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience of full Adobe creative suite and Figma is desirable but not required
Eagerness to adopt, learn, and make best use of AI
Sound knowledge of digital creative formats and ability to read and understand media plans
