We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional Project Manager to join our team as a National Accounts & Vendor Management Consultant. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations across our vendor ecosystem and national accounts. The ideal candidate will own the equipment pre-order process, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate on projects that drive vendor performance and operational excellence.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Pre-Order Ownership:
Manage and execute the end-to-end equipment pre-order process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business needs.
Host weekly calls with pre-order suppliers to discuss status of the overall program as well as critical project needs.
Create bulk invoice forms for Villa’s monthly switchgear inventory program.
Vendor Management & National Accounts Support:
Assist with supplier onboarding and transition activities, ensuring compliance and seamless integration into project work.
Coordinate pricing exercises and maintain accurate pricing data across systems.
Support Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including documentation, analysis, and vendor communication.
Participate in vendor performance reviews and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize processes.
Special Projects:
Contribute to strategic initiatives such as cost optimization, process improvement, and technology enhancements.
Collaborate cross-functionally on projects that impact national accounts and vendor management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
Experience:
2+ years in vendor management, procurement, or account support roles.
Experience with RFPs, pricing analysis, and supplier onboarding is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
