Role Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual (English & Korean) Project Manager (CSA) to join our team and lead the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scope for a data center project. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of site-based project experience in ground-up construction, preferably with a technical background in engineering, architecture, or construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will form part of an existing project team and will be responsible for managing the CSA scope ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. General responsibilities include but not limited to:

CSA Scope Management

  • Oversee and manage all CSA-related construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution of CSA scopes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify risks, and address issues promptly.
  • Work closely with MEP teams to align work schedules and resolve potential conflicts.

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Support the Project Director and broader project team in delivering key project milestones.
  • Assist in construction planning, sequencing, and execution strategies for CSA disciplines.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, and design teams, providing updates on progress and challenges.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment for CSA-related works.

Schedule, Cost & Risk Management

  • Monitor CSA work schedules, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline.
  • Identify potential delays and coordinate mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support cost tracking and contractor progress evaluations for CSA scopes.
  • Assist in risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder & Documentation Management

  • Act as the primary contact for CSA-related issues, facilitating communication between clients and contractors, consultants, other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, approvals, and documentation are properly managed for CSA work.
  • Provide progress reports, quality control updates, and risk assessments to the project team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of site-based project experience in ground-up construction.
  • Strong understanding of CSA construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Experience in managing large-scale commercial and advanced technology projects (large-scale data center project) preferred.
  • Experience with mission-critical projects (e.g., data centers) is a strong advantage.
  • Cost estimating and management skills are an advantage.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex stakeholder relationships, including clients, designers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods (design, construction, risk management, cost control, and procurement), materials, and industry best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Korean construction regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (verbal and written) is required.
  • Proficient in construction management tools such as MS Office, Bluebeam, project management software (Procore or similar), cost management tools, scheduling software (Primavera or similar), and BIM software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an existing project team and manage related scopes independently.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a focus on resolving complex project challenges.
