The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As the Project Manager, Commercial Excellence Execution & Change Management, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Our projects are at the forefront of medical device technology, with this role focusing particularly on business commercial areas. Your role will support the Commercial Excellence PMO, with a specific focus on project execution, emerging agentic project management tools, and adoption/change management enablement across global and business group teams. 

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Combining traditional project execution fundamentals with forward-looking digital, AI-enabled, and agent-based project practices.
  • Working closely with Commercial Excellence project leads, functional partners (Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Finance), and transformation stakeholders to help ensure projects are well-structured, operationally supported, and adopted sustainably.
  • Support planning, execution, adoption and measurement of Commercial Excellence initiatives across the Commercial Excellence team.
  • Driving development and adoption of agentic project management tools (e.g., Copilot-enabled workflows, automated status tracking, intake agents, requirement capture tools)
  • Partnering with Commercial Excellence and cross-functional teams to pilot new PM tools and AI-enabled capabilities; document usage patterns, pain points, and improvement opportunities; create lightweight governance playbooks for project teams; and elevating change management across the Commercial Excellence area to operationalize project tools across initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve delivery consistency.
  • Developing, establishing and enforcing project management standards, tools, and governance processes to ensure consistent execution, transparency, and accountability across all projects within the portfolio.
  • Managing projects of various scopes, budgets and duration lengths in an agile manner to produce desired results and business impact. 
  • Communicating effectively cross-functionally with leaders, partners, other project managers and subject matter experts within Commercial Excellence and across the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 1 year of project management experience

OR

  • A Highschool/ GED AND 5 years of project management experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Agile Project Management Certification (Certified SCRUM Master or Certified Agile Practitioner)
  • AI certification and experience
  • Microsoft Power Apps proficiency
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Jira proficient

Work location:

  • Remote

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/ international travel

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $83,600 - $114,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
