Position Responsibilities:
- End to end project management delivery from initiative ideation to in market.
- Project management leadership of new product/offering commercialization projects for all channels.
- Project management leadership of new product offering, packaging and graphic only commercialization projects, high complexity CCRs (savings projects) among others. Coordinate and support cost build-up, CIR development, material set-up/readiness, scale-up efforts and launch/post launch metrics.
- Responsible for directing and managing project scope, planning and implementation consistent with established project priorities.
- Execute projects utilizing common processes and metrics established by the Operations Business/ Project Management team.
- Support ConAgra Business Strategy through delivering multiple projects on time.
- Ensure proper application of project management tools, Stage Gate models and prioritization. Prepare and maintain project status within PMO Tools (Accolade).
- Provide risk assessments on project – identify and outline mitigation steps with team leads and functional owners.
- Lead project teams in identifying, defining, and resolving system and business process problems, distinguishing between symptoms and root causes.
- Coordinate and support cost build-up, material and systems set-up /readiness, packaging development, scale-up efforts, tracking of packaging run outs/ transitions related to assigned projects as well as launch/post launch metrics.
- Work closely with R&D, Co-Manufacture, Market Development, Sales, Brand, Procurement, Finance and Supply Chain functions to deliver projects and drive the top and bottom line.
- Provide regular status reporting, milestone progress on the overall projects.
- Provide risk assessments on project – identify and outline mitigation steps with team leads and functional owners.
- Work closely with US operations business team to coordinate changes being driven by US domestic teams that impacts Mexico & Global Markets existing portfolio for both growth and savings projects
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 plus years project management experience in manufacturing/supply chain environment
- PMP or working towards certification
- Exposure to multiple Supply Chain and other business disciplines (Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, S&OP, Logistics, R&D, etc.) in previous positions or project work preferred.
- Exposure to new product commercialization and start-up procedures.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing unit operations.
- The position requires strong project and influence management skills to lead cross-functional project teams without direct reports relationship.
- Demonstrate an ability to resolve conflict and to provide decisive, respected leadership.
- Highly collaborative leadership & communication style; communicate effectively with both functional and technical partners in written and verbal forms.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong problem solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills - both formal and informal with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions
- Adept at working within a matrix organization
- Position seats in Mississauga office
- 5 % travel
Possibility of extension.
Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$116,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
