A multi-functional role, driving Engineering activities, responsiveness and efficiency through collaboration with commercial, management & technical teams. With a broad overview of Engineering & manufacturing theory and practice, contributing to the services provision of a holistic model locally, regionally and globally.

You will prepare proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Process tracking, metrics tracking. Could be degreed or non-degreed. Responsible for headcount and various other data collections that are used for ultimate decision making.
• · Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
• · Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical isses.
• · Communicates with direct team and supervisor. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
• · Interfacing with engineering disciplines and commercial teams to present technical proposals to our customers.
• · Managing engineering equipment to replicate operational issues in a lab environment.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset to problem solving and solution orientated
• Experience in Control systems.
