The Project Management Manager plans and manages a group of Project Managers and/or Business Analysts within the Project Management Office (PMO) that are directed at achieving business goals. Coordinates and synchronizes the execution of deliverables to achieve results in an optimal manner. Builds relationships and partners with the broader PMO team as well as the business unit or department manager(s) who are accountable for the realization of the common set of goals. Directly manages the Project Managers and/or Business Analysts goals and methodologies while partnering with other managers and staff to ensure complete and accurate execution of project deliverables.
What you will do:
Directly manages employees while overseeing assigned function(s). Carries out manager responsibilities in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; managing and appraising performance; coaching and development; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Works with PMO Director and business line or department heads to understand strategic goals, and define and prioritize appropriate methodologies and objectives to achieve the strategic goals.
Develops 3-5 year plan for building PM and or BA competencies. Drive Project Manager, Business Analyst and Business System Analyst role and scope definition into successive levels of detail until projects are defined to support the business outcome.
Ensures that resource relationships between projects are optimized.
Determines overall PM and/or BA resource needs and ensures availability within the context of the Bank's project portfolio.
Proactively manages changes to PM and/or BA’s scope, identifies potential risks, and devises contingency plans for both the department and the projects covered.
Provides PM and/or BA coordination to ensure quality control throughout the project life cycle.
Follows appropriate change control policies and processes.
Performs all other job duties as assigned by supervisor
Who you are:
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Information Technology and Software QA or related field strongly preferred.
High School or GED required.
Minimum of 7 years related project or business analyst management experience required.
15 years of total experience including both Retail Banking and technical/project expertise preferred.
3 years of management/leadership experience required.
Proficient with MS Office Suite and Internet.
Possess excellent human relations, communications and business writing skills.
Possess effective time management and organizational skills.
Able to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines and reporting requirements.
Demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow. High level of cooperation with others and responsive to the Bank’s needs.

High level of accuracy and great attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to travel throughout bank’s footprint to perform required duties (less than 25%)

Pay Range: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually
AIP/Bonus: up to 15%
