This role provides technical and project leadership for advanced manufacturing initiatives that improve aircraft production, strengthen operational capability, and deliver high-impact solutions across the enterprise. The selected candidate will serve as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research and as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects and programs. This position is intended for a highly experienced engineer with demonstrated leadership in complex technical environments.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for advanced manufacturing projects and programs.
Serve as an organization spokesperson for advanced technical initiatives.
Advise management and customers on advanced technical research studies and project direction.
Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
Develop, manage, and execute statements of work, scope, resources, and schedules.
Oversee project performance, including metrics, baseline comparisons, and corrective actions.
Manage scope changes and their impact to cost, schedule, and deliverables.
Direct proposal development and support strategic planning and execution.
Ensure technical rigor, consistency, and alignment across project outputs.
Lead research, test, development, and implementation efforts for advanced manufacturing solutions.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
How many years of experience do you have developing cross functional processes, creating and managing engineering deliverables (i.e. Engineering / Manufacturing, Engineering / Supply Chain, Engineering / Program Management, Engineering / Quality, etc.)?
How many years of experience do you have providing technical leadership to cross functional engineering projects?
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics, or production systems.
Experience leading strategic technical initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting proposal development, program planning, or executive-level briefings.
Experience advising leadership or customers in a technical environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
In the U.S., ABET accreditation is preferred, though not required.

Summary Pay Range Subject Matter Expert: $146,200 - $197,800
Summary Pay Range Senior: $176,800 - $239,200
