Amentum is seeking a Technical Project Director to lead the end -to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large scale technical projects
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, serve as a liaison between developers and stakeholders, and ensure everyone has a shared understanding of goals and milestones
- Work with leadership to define long-term strategy, drive process improvements, and ensure programs align with business objectives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and proactively remove roadblocks to keep projects on track
- Provide technical direction, assess technical feasibility, and sure the right balance of cost and benefit
- Effectively communicate program status, technical details, and requirements to a wide range of audiences from engineers to executives
Minimum Requirements/Core Skills
- B.S Degree + 15 years of experience in related discipline
- Deep knowledge in relevant technical field, with experience in building scalable platforms, products or services
- Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to contribute to execute long-term technical strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex technical and organizational challenges
- Superior ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
- Management of personnel resources to motivate, develop and direct people as they work
