Job Description
What You Will Do:
- Provide essential administrative and accounting support for capital expenditures across our managed properties
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in DocStar including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders
- Audit invoices against budgets and commitments, ensuring proper coding, payment tracking, and lien waiver compliance
- Support Project Managers by monitoring performance against approved budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Maintain capital project reports and account draws while recommending efficiency improvements for departmental procedures
What We Are Looking For:
- 1+ year of accounting, finance, or capital experience – because a foundation in financial processes helps you hit the ground running
- High school diploma (BA/BS in Accounting or Business preferred) – since understanding fundamental business principles strengthens your ability to coordinate complex projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, with the ability to efficiently create documents, analyze data, and support daily operational needs
- Ability to work 8+ hours at a desk/computer, as maintaining digital documentation systems requires focused screen time
- Working knowledge of construction industry terms and practices (preferred) – because speaking the language of contractors and vendors ensures smoother project coordination
