Job Description

Management of construction project costs, submission of monthly planning and progress reports to project management.

The tasks to be carried out are as follows:

- Prepare Level II planning based on area procedures and within the required timeframe for projects approved for investment that are assigned to you, in coordination with the Project Manager and the other disciplines involved.

- Organize and coordinate the integration of the plans sent by Business Development into the Level I and II plans for the projects assigned to you.

- Develop and maintain planning templates for each type of project (wind and photovoltaic), identifying the activities, their duration, and their dependency relationships.

- Develop and adjust the detailed planning templates for each specific project (together with the Project Manager) for purchasing, engineering, construction, and commissioning.

- Monitor the progress of the work and prepare weekly and monthly planning reports.

- Analyze projects in detail during their execution to determine critical paths and risks, while proposing and updating the necessary changes to project the expected final deadline.

- Determine the critical and sub-critical paths of projects, from the moment the project becomes the responsibility of Engineering and Construction until it is transferred to operations and maintenance.

- Prepare progress curves and other planning reports included in the department's instructions and other requirements of the planning area reports.

- Optimal coordination with Project Management and other coordinators in each discipline to obtain the best possible results.

- Ensure that project planning documentation is correctly uploaded to Sharepoint and that the information is available in the various applications used by the department.

- Identify improvements in departmental instructions.

- Obtain information from other departments (business development, purchasing, engineering, construction, network code, etc.) involved in meeting project deadlines.

- Identify and channel the most relevant lessons learned from the project planning processes.

Required Skills and Competencies

Qualifications/Education: Engineering degree.

Additional training: Specific training in planning, with knowledge of Primavera P6 being essential. Additional specific courses related to project planning and management will be valued.

Languages/Level: English/high/intermediate level, spoken and written.

Skills: Ability to negotiate with third parties, work in a team, and perform technical analysis of projects.

Preferred areas of expertise:

Programming and planning work on industrial EPC projects (combined cycle cogeneration plants, LNG plants, solar thermal plants, oil & gas plants). - Management of industrial EPC projects.
