Project Delivery
Deliver projects in accordance with Motorola PMO guidelines;
Assist in the delivery of assigned projects while minimising operational impact to existing systems.
Manage delivery of project documentation in accordance with customer and Motorola’s requirements.
Create and execute project schedules (including, work breakdown and task structure, resource loading,
dependencies, milestones, etc.).
Coordinate, manage, monitor and control allocated projects.
Develop and maintain project financial status documentation.
Procurement and Financial Management
Perform procurement requirements across project teams.
Provide financial updated and reporting as required.
Assist with the alignment and ongoing management of Motorola financial policies and systems.
Manage and escalate project issues internally and externally.
Stakeholder Management
Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the customer and customer project teams as
applicable.
Manage and escalate project issues internally and externally.
Meeting and exceeding customer scope, schedule and quality expectations.
Management of subcontractors and third-party suppliers.
Assist in the assessment of the capabilities of vendors and vendors’ products and services.
Promote customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance to Motorola Quality principles and values.
Quality & Risk
Assessment and management of project risks.
Assessment and management of financial risk as required.
Leadership & Approach
Collaborate with technical and non-technical persons of different cultures with respect.
Operate with integrity.
GENERAL EDUCATION:
Desirable:
Tertiary qualifications and/or certification in Project Management or Business Management (PRINCE2,
PMBOK).
Experience with project scheduling software (MS Project, P6, or similar).
Tertiary qualifications in a Financial discipline.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Essential:
Minimum of 2 years multi-disciplinary experience in project management within the information technology
and/or telecommunications industry.
Desirable:
Experience in radio communications or communications infrastructure projects.
Experience in Systems Engineering or Defence Engineering principles.
Contract and financial management.
