Operating at the intersection of high-volume sales and operational execution, the Sales Administration Officer manages complex end-to-end quoting, order fulfillment, and essential administrative tasks. This role is designed for a collaborative professional, dedicated to precision and workflow optimisation, with a steadfast focus on the customer journey. As a gateway into the technology and communications industries, this position provides a robust foundation for long-term professional growth and career advancement.
You will be responsible for:
Manage the complete order lifecycle for equipment, ensuring accurate data entry and tracking within Salesforce and CPQ
Prepare and complete professional equipment quotations
Serve as the primary liaison for national orders to guarantee client satisfaction and prompt delivery
Uphold strict file compliance and Salesforce database accuracy standards
Optimise the billing process by managing manual invoices for external equipment and drafting invoice requests
Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Sales departments to improve operational procedures and resolve workflow delays
Assist Finance with revenue recognition tasks and the generation of invoices
Provide operational office support as needed, including reception coverage, corporate events, and function planning
Coordinate merchandise and marketing materials for the Sales teams
Exceptional Customer Service / Phone / Written and Face to Face
Innovative and Problem solving
Completion of Secondary Education
Attainment of Certificate III or IV in Business Administration
Demonstrated professional experience in an administrative capacity
Proficiency in the utilisation of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suites
It will also be beneficial (not mandatory) if you have:
Tertiary education in Business, Finance or Information Technology
Experience in technology or telecommunications industry
Experience and Skills
Essential:
Proven experience in high-volume quoting and order fulfillment
Adaptability and flexibility in high stress environments
A "zero-error" mindset regarding high-precision financial data and invoicing
A proactive instinct for building systemic solutions to maintain workflow momentum
The ability to act as a sophisticated bridge between national sales teams and high-value customers
It will also be beneficial (not mandatory) if you have:
Proficiency in Salesforce, Oracle or CPQ platforms is highly regarded
A strong grasp of Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel (data modeling), and PowerPoint (executive reporting)
A functional understanding of technical equipment procurement and supply chain flow
Familiarity with the procurement and processing of specialised technical equipment
We welcome Graduate applications who have had part-time or full-time work experience
Ideally a Minimum 3-5 Years experience in a similar field would be beneficial
