Major Duties:
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. One year of specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for a Director FMWR. Experience must reflect multiple FMWR program work. Possess demonstrated leadership and oversight of a successful profit generating medium/large business organization, ensuring programs and activities are managed and operated on a sound financial basis or demonstrated experience taking corrective action. Possess demonstrated ability to execute Human Resources Program, supervise personnel to include subordinate supervisors, and execute organization personnel management responsibilities. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education. Those applicants determined to be highly qualified will be referred to the hiring official for consideration. The highly qualified candidates may undergo an interview and reference checks. Possess five (5) years of executive management experience in a diverse organization, which includes supervising the various stages of planning, coordination, execution, and after-action review of the mission. Possess three (3) years of professional experience in a supervisory or program management role in multiple programs within the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (i.e., NAF Support, Business, Recreation, Child and Youth Services, Army Community Services). Possess two (2) years of professional experience mentoring subordinate staff and building cohesive teams within an organization that experiences multiple transitions in mission and resources.
