Position Summary
As a Programmatic Account Manager at KINESSO across the NatWest account, you will be at the forefront of our client relationships, leading the strategic direction and delivery of complex programmatic campaigns for a portfolio of clients. You will leverage your deep expertise to develop innovative media strategies across Display, Video, Audio, and DOOH, ensuring exceptional performance and measurable business outcomes. You will play a crucial role in managing, mentoring and guiding our Account and Senior Account Executives, fostering their growth, and ensuring the flawless execution of Account management under your purview.
You will work closely with internal teams and technology partners, learning how to translate client objectives into actionable campaign tactics and contribute to surpassing key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Operate as key client (internal and external) point of contact for day-to day client service: client account management, conduit between client and operations & finance, selling of services, tactical campaign design, analysis, reporting and related campaign duties
- Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of programmatic campaigns, ensuring all efforts are aligned with strategic goals and client KPIs.
- Lead in-depth performance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for both clients and internal teams
- Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data, translating complex metrics into actionable insights and presenting findings directly to clients.
- Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving complex delivery and performance issues, collaborating with internal teams to implement effective solutions.
- Help lead the tactical design and implementation of campaigns, ensuring all elements align with client objectives and KINESSO's best practices.
- Lead the selling of KINESSO's services by understanding how our solutions meet client needs.
- Preparing and leading in client meetings, communicating campaign and performance updates
- Developing media and audience strategies, leveraging data and market insights to achieve client goals.
- Interpret campaign data, identify trends, and contribute to drawing initial conclusions regarding performance.
People
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Campaign Executives and Senior Campaign Executives, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Foster strong relationships with key technology partners and publishers, staying abreast of new product offerings and integrating relevant innovations into client strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in programmatic execution and client communication, contributing to their development.
- Work effectively as a team player with various internal stakeholders, including Account Managers, trading teams, analytics specialists, and campaign engineers.
- Assist in liaising with publishers and technology partners, learning about new features and capabilities, and helping to update the wider team.
- Actively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of digital advertising concepts, tools, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of KINESSO's processes by providing feedback and observations from your daily activities.
Desired Skills & Experience
- A good understanding of the media landscape and strong knowledge of ad serving tools, DSPs and SSPs (DV360/CM360 is preferable)
- Experience in digital media account management with blue chip advertising clients with a leading online advertising agency, network, advertising exchange or optimization firm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to develop client-facing presentation abilities.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and contribute to drawing conclusions.
- A proactive approach to investigating and solving problems, with a clear and concise communication style.
- Fluency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, basic formulas, chart creation).
- A genuine desire to understand how things work, with a hands-on approach to new concepts and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, contributing positively to team dynamics.
