HOW A VP FOR HEALTH AND HUMAN PERFORMANCE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Ensure relationships between program teams across Government, GDIT, and other industry partners is maintained seamlessly
  • Contribute to Health and Human Performance strategy development and refinement   
  • Manage programs between $750M and $1.5B supporting Department of War priorities aligned to optimal warrior performance
  • Partner with Government counterparts to ensure effective delivery of warrior performance objectives at Command, Component, Group, and Unit levels
  • Lead a Global team ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of the Special Operations community
  • Align program and business objectives to ensure all warriors receive optimal physical, cognitive, and behavioral support to ensure readiness and lethality improvement outcomes
  • Combine business, health, and military experience to ensure the optimal alignment of program and staff to accomplish customer mission of improving the performance of SOF warriors

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s in Science and/or Business required
  • Technical skills:  Department of Defense certification (DAU/DAWIA) for Acquisition, Contracting, or Program Management required, PMP or PgMP desired
  • Security clearance level: Secret or above (Top Secret preferred) (US Citizenship required)
  • Skills and abilities:
    • Leadership; Executive Communications; Financial and Human Resource Management; Healthcare, Human Performance, or Healthcare Administration; Special Operations; International; Collaboration
    • 20+ years of professional experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 
    • 15+ years of supervisory experience in DoD/DoW program environment, preferably within the Special Operations community
    • 5+ years of experience managing programs with annual budget of >$100M

  • Location: Hybrid, Tampa, FL with occasional travel

The likely salary range for this position is $192,046 - $253,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
