We are looking for a Program Quality Lead who will support both CUAS (Coyote Missiles, MFRFS radars and HEL) and SMGBAD special projects (Stinger, NSAMS, NGSRI, IFPIC). In this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and partnership efforts.

This is an on-site position in McKinney, TX with frequent travel to Tucson, AZ (20-50%).

What You Will Do:

  • You will develop and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor.

  • You will primarily focus on Quality metrics improvement, transition to production activities, Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and other APQP activities. 
  • You will work as part of the QA Team, conducting day-to-day Quality Assurance activities whilst engaging with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring reviews and assessments of program performance are performed, including technical assessments of systems, lessons learned, technology, and programmatic (cost, schedule, and risks and/or defects) practices assuring Quality management System (QMS) processes are defined and implemented.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience. 
  • Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Working experience leading teams in failure and root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
  • Working experience in providing technical program oversight for manufacturing and/or design processes.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Six Sigma, Lean, and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications
  • Experienced team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Quality Metrics development
  • Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers
  • Experience applying judgement and resolution-making skills with appropriate supervisory intervention.
  • Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management.
  • Experience comprehending and translating system requirements and contractual requirements, ensuring full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.
  • Experience using interpersonal skills, working with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities (e.g. 6-sigma, lean manufacturing).
  • Experience in First Article Inspections per AS9102.
  • Experience using performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance including Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value).

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
