Amex GBT Consulting focuses on business and operational strategy, strategic sourcing and program optimization to help our clients manage their travel spend. Working within Amex GBT Consulting's Program Optimization practice, you will support travel program optimization, data analytics, and strategic insights. You will begin with reporting and analytical responsibilities while developing the strategic consulting capabilities needed to advance your career.
What You’ll Do
· Analyze multi-source travel data (TMC, suppliers, corporate card, expense systems) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
· Create performance reports & dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft Office for data visualization
· Monitor travel policy implementation and track program strategies with regular client and internal updates
· Translate data into actionable insights for clear stakeholder communication across organizational levels
· Collaborate with clients and teams to understand business needs and data requirements
· Support project delivery through data gathering, validation, and organization from multiple sources
· Develop analytical tools and frameworks while advising clients on travel data best practices and program optimization
· Lead data utilization initiatives focused on continuous improvement in travel management strategies
· Apply quantitative, data-driven problem-solving to manage multiple engagements and support larger consulting projects
What We’re Looking For
· Self-starter with initiative and curiosity about travel/T&E domain who is an excellent communicator who can translate data into compelling narratives
· Analytically minded with comfort in data manipulation and insight generation
· Collaborative team player with flexibility and can-do attitude that is growth-oriented with ambition to develop into a strategic consultant
· Problem solver who thinks quantitatively and creatively while building deep expertise in travel program optimization and business intelligence
· Develop consulting skills while maintaining a strong analytical foundation progressing from execution to strategy as your capabilities mature
· Work with global clients on strategically important engagements while working virtually with flexibility and occasional client interaction
