What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will be part of the Strategic Partners & Programs team at ChargePoint supporting all implementation aspects of strategic partner engagements in the European market. Your responsibility encompasses electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and infrastructure with a particular focus on the software and systems that underpin our solution offerings.

You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the programs and workstreams that have been agreed with the partners, working as a key driver to fulfill the approved and signed agreements (mostly in the format of a Statement of Work).

You will interact on various levels with the partner according to a clear and agreed communication / cooperation model which identifies all relevant formal interaction channels. The Program Manager is responsible for driving progress with the partner, monitoring and securing timely delivery of defined deliverables according to a pre-agreed timeline. You will escalate internally and inform proactively externally in case of (potential) deviations from this timeline.

You will closely work together with the responsible partner manager and Solutions engineer to be able to assume resistibility for the Day 1 delivery phase and proactively manage a proper hand off of the SOW etc from the Day 0 responsible (sales phase).

You will also closely work together with the colleagues in other departments who are responsible for the delivery of various elements of the program. It is noted that this is a management task without hierarchical power of those colleagues, hence experience with and a proven track record of influencing cross functional stakeholders through a collaborative approach is key.

You will participate in the QBR’s with the partner and present progress and performance against given KPI’s.

The applicant must be a critical thinker, self-motivated, and able to effectively manage projects in an organized and well documented way. The applicant should be able to manage in a stressful environment under high time pressure. Finally, the applicant should be cost conscious.

Travel requirement: up to 50% travel within Europe.

 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of our EV ecosystem and the technical capabilities of ChargePoint therein.
  • Develop and deliver technical proposals/solutions to partners in close cooperation with the various departments within CP to fulfill the agreed SOW.
  • Take full responsibility of the delivery of those solutions within the agreed timelines and communicate about progress internally as well as externally.
  • Responsible for identifying technical issues that may affect partner satisfaction and proactively work to resolve such issues

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in a systems engineering, program or project management or technical consulting capacity
  • EV charging backend, Telematics or Energy Management experience beneficial
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – English desired, German is a clear added value
  • Excellent planning and documentation skills
  • Excellent co-working skills, team player.
  • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
