About the team
The Solutions Architecture (SA) org aims to be a destination pre-sales organization of world-class technical sellers who set and raise the bar in our interactions with Stripe users. Our goal is to drive Stripe’s long-term revenue growth as trusted technical advisors to users and partners and reliable voice of the user to Stripe Product. The Solutions Architecture Strategic Programs team is a small, high-impact team within SA that partners with global SA leadership to design and deliver programs that address the org’s most strategic priorities (i.e. “Big Rocks”) and time-sensitive business challenges. Our team delivers efficiency and leverage to the SA org by designing programs that 1) make it less frictionful for SAs to deliver user impact and 2) scale best practices to drive the broadest possible global impact.
What you’ll do
As an SA program manager, you’ll steer design, decision-making, and delivery on programs that improve the user-facing excellence and organizational efficiency of the global SA org. Within SA, you’ll partner with SA leadership and SA business partners (e.g. Strategy & Operations, Enablement, Recruiting, People) to define and roll out global standards of user-facing and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Partner with SA leadership and SA Enablement to ensure our global playbooks for SAs and managers are regularly updated with guidance and best practices for SA excellence.
- Partner with Enablement and Strategy & Operations define and operationalize inspection/coaching mechanisms for SA pre-sales excellence (e.g. DEMO Principles, Value Selling).
- Design, deliver, and run global programs that develop SA talent and invest in our people & culture (e.g. SA peer-to-peer mentorship program).
- Provide central project management support on high-priority global initiatives (i.e. “Big Rocks” workstreams) to drive decision-making, action, visibility, accountability, and impact.
- Define and manage internal SA communication rhythms (e.g. manager digests and global SA newsletters) to drive clarity, alignment, and action across the field.
Who you are

Minimum requirements
- 4+ years of experience in program management, business operations, management consulting, or a related discipline.
- A strong track record of delivering global, complex programs with multiple stakeholders in a changing, ambiguous environment end-to-end.
- You work well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication experience, influencing across all levels from individual contributors to front-line managers to C-Suite. You set a high-bar in terms of communication effectiveness.
- An ability to seamlessly transition from strategy, high level to very detailed, and a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”.
- An ability to influence cross functional stakeholders to align and execute on common objectivesSomeone who demonstrates leadership qualities throughout their work – taking ownership of challenges, selflessly supporting their colleagues, and setting the standard for quality in their deliverables.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in a user-facing role (e.g. GTM or Support).
- Previous experience with GTM Enablement or other change management.
- Deep problem solving and analysis experience (solving business problems - commercial, operational, financial) in a Sales-oriented environment.
- Comfort operating with incomplete data and adapting / re-prioritizing activities as business needs change.
