ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Associate Professor RMIT Vietnam staff member in Psychology, the Program Manager (PM) will provide leadership and foster excellence in teaching and research efforts of the School, within the RMIT Vietnam University and globally with the community, professional, commercial and industrial sectors. More specifically, the PM will work collaboratively across RMIT as a global University, and with RMIT’s industry, government, community and University partners, to achieve partnership-enabled growth.
The PM will have oversight of the Bachelor of Psychology program (including Honours program) at RMIT Vietnam and be responsible for providing original, innovative, and distinguished contributions to the Program for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities at a national and international levels. The PM will involve providing leadership and direction to Course Co-ordinators teaching into the program and ensuring a coherent and effective program-approach to learning and teaching. The PM will facilitate the ongoing development of teaching materials and regularly monitor and improve program performance. The PM will also provide leadership in relation to active and appropriate engagement of students to ensure engagement and compliance with all relevant University, College and School policies, procedures and protocols and internal and external accreditation requirements. The PM will also monitor demand for the program at RMIT Vietnam and develop plans, strategic direction of the program and School, taking on academic leadership roles involving participation in various committees within the School and University and external to the University, as appropriate.
The PM will be core to the long-term growth of the School. Terms are renewable subject to meeting agreed performance objectives

Direct reports: All academic staff teaching into the Bachelor of Psychology program and future programs in the Psychology discipline
Reporting lines may be adjusted in line with organisational changes.
