WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box is transforming how the world works together. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead large cross-functional programs that support Box’s growth and scalability goals. We are growing and expanding our business models worldwide. In this role you will drive programs that help Box achieve these goals in a thoughtful way that both simplifies and improves our operational efficiency. You will work closely with teams that span Box and our partners such as Finance, Legal, People, Compliance, Sales Operations, and IT among others.

We are a small, close-knit team rooted in an agile and fast-paced environment. We cover multiple projects and are able to pivot across projects of varying complexity and stakeholders. We strive to always provide positive outcomes and experiences for Box, Boxers, and our partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and partners to drive programs including, new system implementations, business processes design with AI, and Boxer enablement
  • Build and maintain program artifacts: charters, success metrics, plans, RAID logs, and status dashboards
  • Stand up and run governance end-to-end (cadence, timely decisions, risks/issues/dependencies); escalate to leadership when needed.
  • Help teams leverage the power of AI to improve productivity and business outcomes for Box and Boxers.
  • Distill complex, cross-functional information into clear, executive-ready narratives and visuals.
  • Scale AI-driven process improvements across program management tasks to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
  • Leverage Smartsheet, AI, JIRA, AirTable, and Box for standardized planning, reporting, and portfolio visibility.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of program/project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously with strong governance and execution discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication; comfortable influencing and pushing back when needed.
  • Skilled in creating program structure from scratch with measurable outcomes and clear accountability.
  • Data-driven with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Curious with a continuous improvement mindset, able to apply AI to simplify project management workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred skills

  • Project or program management experience in the tech sector; G&A operations experience
  • Technical aptitude with SaaS enterprise software (Box, Workday, Salesforce, Zuora, JIRA)
  • PMP Certification or equivalent

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays-Thursdays.
