Position Summary:
KBR is seeking a motivated Program Manager with an emphasis on Events and Engagement to join the C3BM (Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management) team in Beavercreek, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall cost, schedule, and performance of key strategic events and engagement activities. This includes high-profile events such as the Advance Battle Management System (ABMS) Summit, Senior Leader Offsites, and recurring Program Management Reviews. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for creating impactful experiences that align with the program's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full program management responsibility for the annual Advance Battle Management System Summit, multiple Senior Leader Offsites, and regular Program Management Reviews, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, on schedule, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and regularly report on cost, schedule, and performance to senior leadership.
- Develop, manage, and report on comprehensive event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and tracking all expenditures.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and accommodations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all event stakeholders, including senior leadership, attendees, speakers, and external vendors.
- Liaise with the DAF Portfolio Acquisition Executive and the Command, Control, Communications & Battle Management (C3BM) Public Affairs office to direct and synchronize strategic communications and public messaging across digital media platforms.
- Drive internal program engagement and esprit de corps through the planning and execution of morale events and the strategic management of branded merchandise (SWAG).
- Coordinate the development of event materials, including agendas, presentations, and briefing books.
- Manage attendee registration, communication, and inquiries.
- Provide on-site event management to ensure a seamless and professional experience for all participants.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and report on key metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Work Environment:
- Location: Beavercreek, OH
- Travel Requirements: 25%
- Working Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility required during event weeks.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Demonstrated program management experience with direct responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
- Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale meetings, conferences, or summits, preferably within a program management framework.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong budget management and financial tracking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with senior leadership and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Desired:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience planning and executing events for the Department of Defense (DoD) or other U.S. Government agencies.
- Familiarity with military protocol and etiquette for high-level events.
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar event management certification.
- Experience with event management software and virtual/hybrid event platforms.
- Familiarity with the C3BM program or related mission areas.
- Proficiency in graphic design and the creation of marketing materials.
