Salary Range: $143913 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Program Manager in the Strategic and Theater Sealift Program Office (PMS 385) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the management and oversight of all business and financial elements.
  • You will maintain current status of "business health" of major contractors performing in support of the PMS 385 mission.
  • You will advise leadership on trends that could favorably or unfavorably impact mission accomplishment such as cash flow, future business prospects, cost estimates at completion and projected schedules.
  • You will prepare or review the preparation of Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) and Selected Acquisition Report (SAR).
  • You will advise leadership on manpower matters and act on their behalf during their absence.
  • You will exercise financial management control over all resources allocated for execution of approved programs by analyzing program funds status and reviewing obligation and expenditure status.
  • You will control the execution of the financial plan, authorize real-time adjustments as appropriate to required or desirable expansions, reductions deferrals or absorptions of funding requirements.
  • You will authorize and monitor commitment/obligation of allocated dollars including the examination and interpretation of financial documentation that identify shortcomings in the execution of financial plans.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading financial management analysis functions (e.g. creating financial management plans, directing financial program reviews, or developing high level budget summaries) to ensure the timely and accurate execution of program funds for an organization.
