We are currently looking for a Program Manager to join our team in Franklin, TN.  

Responsible for program deployment including requirements gathering, catalog management, and launch support. Vehicle Connected Services (VCS) scope may include offerings such as embedded TCU telematics, tethered phone telematics and apps, satellite radio, navigation map updates, concierge, platform integration etc.

Job Functions

  • Gathers customer requirements and translates them into detailed service and program technical requirements. Ensures all VCS Marketing and CCL PRODT business requirements are captured and collaborates with VCS development/test team, global and regional IS, and NTC/NTC-NA to develop detailed product requirements specifications.
  • Responsible to define detailed customer lifecycle processes (enrollment, change of ownership, hardware replacement, etc.) in collaboration with key stakeholders internal and external to VCS.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains a service catalog describing all programs and services, their availability by vehicle and technology platform, and other key descriptive information
  • Responsible for program management of activities outside of core service development including marketing asset gathering, marketing programs, dealer training, and PR and call center support.
  • Supervises Sr Planners on the VCS program deployment team. Determines workload allocation to maintain balance manages performance. Provides support for escalation, decision, and direction as needed.

Job Knowledge and Skill:
Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Ability to create service and systems requirements along with technical writing capability. Ability to translate customer needs into technical specifications. Customer focus with understanding of telematics industry.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least 7-10 years of related experience at a professional level with a telematics service provider or similar subscription-based service business.
  • High level understanding of telematics wireless and system architecture. Prior experience in telematics service development or planning is highly desired.


Computer Skills:
Knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, Visio, Project, and other PC applications.


Travel:
10% domestic and international travel.
