What success looks like in this role:

Plans and coordinates all aspects of complex technical projects from initiation to delivery, the complete end-to-end process. Projects may involve hardware and software installations, upgrades, site maintenance, development or other specialized areas. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers / partners by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs / impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

• Provides technical project / program advice and leadership company wide.
• Works with management to set strategic direction for the project management office, ensuring all projects and programs align with and support business objectives.
• Leads in the introduction of new methodologies, technologies and tools to drive operational efficiency, innovation and competitive advantage.
• Manages large, complex portfolios of projects or multi-year programs – such as IT infrastructure upgrades or cloud migration initiatives.
• Leads the prioritization of projects across the organization, balancing resources, budgets and strategic importance.
• Develops risk frameworks and mitigation strategies for cross-organizational application.
• Works with management to set governance standards and processes for project management.
• Monitors and assesses emerging technologies, such as AI, edge computing and cybersecurity innovations, incorporating best practices into project management strategy.

 

Global AI Practice

  • Manage and coordinate interactions with CCO and BU GTM teams. Ensure actionable plan for each opportunity. Develop and produce mechanism for end-to-end deal tracking, actions and owners. Drive to completion
  • Coordinate Prin. Technologists Office Hours timing, material publication (tech blog series), tech talks, drive artifact and materials creation timelines and currency
  • Drive overall program status and action focused sprint roadmaps. Coordinate offering roadmaps and capabilities within the Practice and across CA&I / ECS BUs. Manage weekly leadership communications and raise blockers as they occur.
  • Maintain Unisys Intranet All Things AI site with training, UniPAL asset links, Governance and Enablement, “ask me anything” form and updates on a regular basis. Create dashboard for leadership “instant status” access
  • Manage strategic projects and programs as needed within the Practice, including executive dashboards, vendor and internal project plans and timeline / deliverables tracking

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 8-12 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred
