Position Overview:

As a Senior Director of Network Modeling and Optimization, you will be responsible for supporting the evolution of Coca-Cola's supply chain network design and optimization program. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics, mathematical modeling, and optimization techniques to drive strategic decisions, reduce operational costs, and enhance service levels across our global network. This role will help to make our distribution and supply chain networks resilient, agile, and competitive.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the program on Supply chain network design and optimization —encompassing suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution—with a focus on enhancing customer service and reducing cost-to-serve. Provide recommendations for future-state supply chain network design across the system, considering various customer segments and adapting to the evolving customer landscape.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for network optimization throughout the end-to-end supply chain. Support the evaluation of multiple options/scenarios and offer business-aligned rationale and recommendations. As Program lead, serve as primary supply chain contact for OUs, and bottling teams.

  • Collaborate with platform services and external partners to advance supply chain network design and optimization capabilities across the system. Lead the establishment of a Center of Excellence dedicated to building these competencies. Oversee responsibilities involving multiple projects across the organization.

  • Maintain an external network of relationships with partners, industry organizations, academic institutions, startups etc. to ensure system remains on top of leading innovations in Network design and optimization.

  • Oversee the development and rollout of warehousing and logistics technologies to advance the company’s supply chain modernization. Continuously identify and manage a pipeline of tech solutions focused on warehousing, logistics systems, and end-to-end delivery to consumers for supply chain applications.

  • For key priority areas, collaborate proactively to test and implement technical solutions. Work with suppliers, bottlers, and other teams to ensure shared acceptance of results and alignment with business objectives.

  • Partner closely with Operating Units (OUs) and Bottling Partners to drive operational improvements by identifying and developing future technologies, as well as adopting strong operating practices in warehousing and logistics—drawing insights from both within and beyond the beverage sector.

  • Program Management: Lead relevant programs across the system to build capabilities; track progress against long-term action plans, and ensure solutions are adopted and have measurable impact.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial/ other Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Related Work Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience across various facets of Supply Chain in CPG industry. Experience in managing Network Design and Optimization projects is a must. Exposure to Warehousing and Logistics technologies is an added advantage.


Functional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with exposure to optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, OptiLogic or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry and global supply chain dynamics.
  • Program Management: Develop plans, monitor progress, manage complex or competing priorities, communicate project issues and progress, ensure adoption and impact
  • This role is an individual contributor, but it is expected to provide guidance and support to OU Supply Chain Teams as well as work closely with multiple senior leaders including bottling team members .

Pay Range:

$162,000 - $188,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
