We have an immediate need for a Program Cost Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will research, analyze and develop cost models. Manage customer invoicing and support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
  • Lead proposal and estimating efforts to ensure timely, compliant responses to customer RFPs.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain cost models, labor estimates, and material pricing based on current and historical data.
  • Compile and evaluate supplier and internal cost data to perform comprehensive price and cost analyses.
  • Coordinate the collection of cost, schedule, and performance information from functional departments.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of working papers.
  • Conduct internal pricing compliance reviews and support external regulatory audits.
  • Prepare proposal documentation, approval packages, and audit submissions in accordance with company and government requirements.
  • Identify and clearly document assumptions, dependencies, and risk factors in cost build-ups..
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, data validation, and financial insight to improve decision-making and business performance.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of improved processes
  • Assist in generating program financial artifacts such as CPI reports, graphs, and analysis, as required
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials
  • Work safely and in accordance with all applicable acts, regulations, legislation, and codes to ensure personal and public safety

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, estimating, pricing, or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or defense environment.
  • Must have working knowledge of computerized financial ERP applications; experience in manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of cost elements (labor, material, ODC, indirect rates, profit, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Validation, etc.).
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.
