The Program Coordinator I, under general supervision, leads departmental recruitment efforts and coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of departmental programs, including outreach and program communications.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and supports recruitment and outreach efforts for departmental programs, partnering with faculty and staff to plan and implement initiatives
Serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students
Supports student recruitment through on-campus and off-campus events, conferences, tours, and outreach activities; occasional travel will be required
Coordinates ongoing outreach and correspondence with prospective, current, and former students, faculty, staff, advisors, and partners
Coordinates program communications and marketing efforts, including website content, directories, newsletters, digital signage, and social media platforms
Maintains and updates departmental websites and assists with creation and distribution of digital and print communications
Assists with development of marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, and social media content
Supports scholarship coordination
Maintains program records, databases, and listservs related to students, alumni, faculty, and staff
Collects, tracks, compiles, and maintains data related to recruitment, enrollment, internships, placements, scholarships, surveys, and other program outcomes
Provides logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, orientations, seminars, and events
Provides backup administrative and operational support as needed and assists with coordination of student workers
Provides general program support as needed and performs other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including digital communication platforms
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
