Position Summary

Under the direction of program leadership, is responsible for the administration, coordination, development, and enrichment of Bauer Leaders Academy programs. These programs may include academic or extracurricular offerings such as courses, cohort-based experiences, experiential learning programs, and milestone events.

Supports both the design and continuous improvement of assigned programs while managing day-to-day operational needs. This role works closely with faculty, facilitators, campus partners, and student participants to ensure programs are well-executed and aligned with the Academy’s mission.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administers and coordinates Bauer Leaders Academy programs. This includes (a) managing logistics; (b) maintaining program schedules; and (c) serving as a primary point of contact for program participants.

  • Supports the development and enrichment of Academy programs. This includes (a) researching and proposing enhancements to existing programs based on participant feedback and emerging best practices in leadership education; (b) assisting in the design of new offerings, program modules, or experiences; and (c) identifying opportunities to strengthen program quality and developmental impact.

  • Coordinates the planning and execution of program events, activities, and milestone experiences. This includes (a) managing logistics for program sessions, guest speaker events, experiential learning components, and capstone events; (b) liaising with internal WashU partners and external service providers; and (c) preparing materials, communications, and participant resources.

  • Supports program assessment and continuous improvement. This includes (a) collecting and analyzing participant feedback and program outcome data; (b) preparing program reports and summaries for leadership and key stakeholders; and (c) recommending and implementing improvements to program processes and the student experience.

  • Coordinates with faculty, facilitators, and campus partners. This includes (a) supporting the planning and delivery of programs; (b) facilitating communication between program leadership and partners; and (c) ensuring program logistics are well-organized and responsive to stakeholder needs.

  • Performs other activities required to support the achievement of the Bauer Leaders Academy’s mission and objectives.

Salary Range

$25.47 - $39.49 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
