About the role:
Reporting initially to the Director Water Projects, the Program Construction Manager is accountable for creating value and mitigating risks associated with the portfolio of construction work scopes in the Water Projects portfolio. As the current portfolio of Water Projects are advanced through mechanical completion in H2 2026, the Program Construction Manager accountabilities will shift to the broader portfolio of major capital projects being advanced by EVR.
The Program Construction Manager is accountable to support activities required to move major capital projects from prefeasibility to execution completion in accordance with EVR’s Project Development Framework. The key focus area for this role is to support safe and timely delivery of construction scopes, which includes planning, organization, and mobilization of resources to meet the project goals and in accordance with the agreed construction execution strategy and construction management plans. The Program Construction Manager will additionally be responsible for constructability input into the engineering design of projects and the contracting strategies for major capital projects.
The Program Construction Manager collaborates with members of the project, functional, and operational leadership teams in successfully demonstrating EVR’s commitment to safety and sustainability by identifying opportunities to reduce hazard exposure to people and the environment during construction.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing shifting priorities in a timely and efficient manner. The Program Construction Manager will be the functional manager of the designated Project Construction Managers.
