Job Summary: You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Contract Management Office of NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES.

Major Duties:

  • You will provide guidance and policy on the proper use of the Government Travel Commercial Card.
  • You will prepare and process all necessary documentation for management of the Government Travel Commercial Card Agency Program.
  • You will perform monthly audits for account delinquencies and improper purchases, processes, and electronic reports.
  • You will provide program data to leadership for monthly review of program metrics for the travel card program.
  • You will prepare and coordinate instructions to execute commands travel card policies, reviews, and account activity for proper usage of the travel card.
  • You will review various reports to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • You will analyze and resolve systemic purchase card system problems and payment delinquencies.
  • You will provide training on all program requirements to solve problems areas identified during management of the Government Travel Commercial Card Program.
  • You will review business rules and practices, user account information, activity and other reports, on-line data, and reconciliation and certification results.
  • You will analyze and recommend areas requiring improvement and develops recommendations for improvements to the purchase card process and procedures.

Qualifications: GS-12- Your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Experience in applying knowledge of government travel card program, principles and practices; (2) Examining, verifying, validating, reconciling, and interpreting government travel card data, reports, etc.; (3) Displays knowledge and interprets legislation, policies, and regulations; and determines requirements governing the government travel card program; (4) Performs reviews and audits related to the government travel card program; (5) Effective written and oral communication skills.
