We want someone passionate about structural engineering and problem solving.
SGH seeks a motivated and talented engineer to help grow our structural engineering practice with emphasis on repair and rehabilitation of existing structures, investigation and performance evaluation of existing and new structures, and design of new structures. Typical project work includes investigating deteriorated or underperforming structures, conducting structural evaluations for new and existing structures, preparing detailed calculations, developing drawings and specifications, executing construction administration, writing investigative reports, preparing client presentations, managing project budgets and schedules, assisting with mentoring and development of junior staff, and interacting with facility owners, public agencies, contractors, and architects.

The below range is a good faith estimate pursuant to applicable equal pay and pay transparency laws. The actual salary offered will be based on several factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications and work location.
Base salary is a part of SGH’s industry leading Total Compensation package. Our Total Compensation package includes base salary, pay for extra hours worked, an annual discretionary bonus program, generous paid time off, and health and wellness benefits with a special emphasis on substantial SGH contributions to medical insurance premiums and SGH’s Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan.
