Responsibilities:
- Develop planning parameters to replenish inventories and meet customer service objectives, while at the same time supporting organizational working capital and productivity goals.
- Coordinate with Repack Manager and team to deliver weekly production plans.
- Support as needed with SAP master data to include safety stock levels, ABC codes, and min/max levels.
- Analysis and optimization of order and inventory quantities according to business management principles and in line with corporate goals, among other things through: ABC-XYZ analysis, monitoring and regular adjustment of reorder and safety stock levels, range of coverage analysis and inventory turnover, analysis of capacities and throughput times process optimizations, and delivery performance.
- Identify and resolve capacity restraints and bottlenecks.
- Establish and build strong working relations with internal colleagues to support Company goals and objectives as well as provide high quality service to our customers.
- Ongoing review of systems and activities for efficiencies and continuous improvements
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred with 2-4 years minimum experience in inventory control and materials management inventory planning functions or analytical/financial analysis in a manufacturing/production environment.
- 2-4 years SAP experience required including a strong knowledge of MRP and Inventory Control Processes.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to use judgement to analyze facts, incorporate risk/uncertainty analysis, and report findings, recommend and implement sustainable corrective actions written and orally
- Strong PC skills including proficiency with the full Microsoft office suite, Sales Forecasting Application knowledge a plus.
- Six Sigma training a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
