The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to lead workshops that provide occupational skills. In addition to workshops, you may use a variety of instructional methods based on the needs of your students, including demonstrations, lectures, and individual lessons. You will also prepare instructional materials, including assessments or tests you can use to track student progress. Applicants must have education, experience, or a combination of both. Our ideal applicant is enthusiastic about the skills they are teaching and can inspire this enthusiasm in their students.
Responsibilities:
Teach technical skills teaching a variety of instructional methods, including lectures and demonstrations
Develops technical training materials that are presented live and possibly online
Develops subject matter expertise in new technology, products, or processes and serves as a subject matter expert in the development of learning materials for these new areas using the Learning & Development Process (LDP)
Prepare the training facility, vehicles, and tools/equipment as required prior to course delivery and return the environment to its appropriate state once the training is completed
Measures results of technical training using appropriate methods for determining participant reaction, amount of learning, and ability to demonstrate new skills in the classroom setting
Update curriculum or course materials as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
Seven (7) years of industry experience in a related field
3+ years’ experience in a mechanical, optical or electronics-related technical field
Technical skills
Presentation skills
Personal Computer skills in the major office applications, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Willingness to travel

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$58,500 - $122,800
