Position Summary
Coordinates and directs the daily activities of the assigned test team to maximize productivity while maintaining safety, cost and quality. Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met. Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated problems. Provides training and coaching for other Production Test workers.Job Description
Assigns work, reviews metrics, resolves issues that are escalated. Operates and maintains stations to test, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing and testing procedures. Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated problems. Follows training and safety requirements and trains Production Test workers to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to test and/or repair parts, components, and units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. Keeps daily Production Test records. Leads problem solving and continuous improvement activities. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. May identify training and development needs for staff and action training requests to expand their skills, aligning their needs with business strategy and regulatory requirements. Typically, High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year of college (HCN) and 8+ years of related experience. Preferred Associates Degree (or equivalent). NOTE: UK requires 1 year of college or HCN and apprentice training is preferred. Soldering training certified.Expected Compensation: The expected compensation range for this role is
