NOVO Health Services is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations within our healthcare linen facility. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while leading and developing a team of production associates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who promotes accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
Supervise, coach, and develop production associates to drive engagement and performance
Enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and NOVO standards
Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture; proactively address hazards and unsafe behaviors
Ensure production schedules are met while optimizing labor utilization and workflow efficiency
Monitor quality standards to ensure products meet NOVO and customer requirements
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to resolve operational issues and improve performance
Support onboarding, training, and performance management of production staff
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
Track, analyze, and communicate key production and safety metrics
Support standard work, audits, and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environment
Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols
Proven experience leading hourly teams and developing employees
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar Continuous Improvement certification
Experience leading 5S initiatives and Kaizen events in a high-volume environment
Experience in a healthcare-adjacent or highly regulated manufacturing environment
Experience using ERP or WMS systems to track production and labor data
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
