Supervises employees using machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures a safe and healthy work environment through vigilant enforcement of all applicable laws and regulation, including Evonik EHSQ and other policies.
Provide leadership and guidance to Chemical Operators in the operation of manufacturing process equipment.
Responsible for oversight of productivity on shift to achieve production targets.
Communicate appropriate information to the Production Manager and Engineers.
Organize shift schedules for team members and monitoring coverage.
REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma/GED plus Five years or greater working in plant operations OR an Engineering degree in mechanical, chemical or industrial plus 3 years of experience
Minimum of 3 years of Strong Leadership Experience is a MUST
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Exceptional organization and time management abilities
Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation and goal-setting
Conflict resolution skills
Customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
Technical process knowledge. Able to read P&ID, perform DCS operation, basic equipment knowledge and possess the ability to learn the plant operations.
Expertise in safety regulations and permitting.
Comfortable with workplace technology like Microsoft Office applications, SAP, DCS/ HMI and other software
Basic math skills
Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Range: $72,700 - $121,200
