As our Production Scheduling Manager, you are the heartbeat of short-term execution within the Singapore manufacturing site. Your core responsibility is to ensure that production plans are fully aligned to site capacity, labour, and asset readiness—translating demand signals into a plan we can confidently make.
You lead the frozen-to-short-term scheduling window (typically 0–6 weeks), ensuring that production schedules are feasible, achievable, and synchronized with material availability, equipment uptime, and shift patterns.
You work closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply planning, and order management teams to create capacity-led plans that enable our site to deliver on time in full, with confidence.
You’ll lead a team of production scheduler, while embedding best practices, driving visualisation and exception management, and building a culture of proactive readiness and ownership.
We are building a future-focused planning function—a trusted partner that orchestrates end-to-end planning to maximise customer value and enable profitable growth. You’ll play a vital role in this journey by ensuring our site planning engine runs with agility, accuracy, and operational excellence.
A. Short-Term Capacity & Production Scheduling Leadership
Develop and manage the site production schedule within the frozen-to-short-term horizon (typically 0–6 weeks).
Ensure that the schedule reflects true site capacity: machine availability, labour resources, tooling, and downtime.
Translate weekly demand into executable schedules that are feasible and sequenced for flow, changeover efficiency, OEE, and output.
Own the production wheel, planning cycles, and horizon handoffs from supply planning.
Determine the work order (WO) size and build frequency cycle for small volume products to drive production efficiency improvements. Raise & manage work orders in system.
Coordinate and review volume ramp-up requests with the production supervisor and supply planning team.
Ensure daily readiness of work orders, shift plans, and line allocations; monitor Schedule adherence and escalate deviations.
Partner with stakeholders including operations, maintenance, quality, and warehouse to ensure schedule execution risks are flagged and mitigated.
Investigate low material availability issues with the Supply Planner, including deliveries of raw materials and sub-assemblies which are scheduled a week before production. Monitor and drive the timely delivery of the moulding trays between Singapore and Malaysia manufacturing sites.
Identify capacity constraints and recommend resource adjustments or process improvements
Lead daily/weekly readiness and review meetings, act as the single point of truth for the short-term production schedule.
Communicate schedule changes promptly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
B. Data Accuracy & Systems Planning Discipline
Support continuous improvement of ERP configuration and process improvement in collaboration with Planning Excellence.
